Engineering the Impossible
2016
2016 While pursuing his Master’s in Structural Engineering at SRM University, Vinith Kumar N proposed a research project on lightweight concrete. When limited laboratory equipment stood in the way, he refused to stop.Using a household hand blender in his hostel room, he manually generated the foam required for his experiment and returned the next day with a successful prototype.The lesson was clear:If the system doesn’t give you the tools, build them yourself.
After graduation, Vinith returned to Sivakasi and founded ANV Builderss, carrying forward more than 40 years of family construction experience.
While building a successful construction business, one concern stayed with him — his father’s deep frustration over the growing amount of plastic waste with no meaningful recycling solution.
That concern soon became a mission.

The Invention of QMPC
2 Years. Countless Trials. One Breakthrough.
Vinith knew that awareness and segregation alone could not solve the challenge of Multi-Layered Plastic (MLP). The real opportunity was to engineer this difficult waste into something valuable.
With no formal background in polymer science, he taught himself polymer technology and spent two years experimenting, failing, learning and refining.
The breakthrough was QMPC — Quartz Multi Polymer Composite, an innovative composite designed to transform hard-to-recycle plastic waste into durable, high-value utility products.
Today, QMPC is the innovation driving Zero Escape Foundation.
Vinith’s vision is to take QMPC to the global commercial market and create a future where single-use plastic is no longer treated as waste, but transformed into a valuable resource.
Yesterday’s pollution can build tomorrow’s foundations.
